  1. Submitted July 27, 2013 – Are there any additional finished items that can be brought in to the tryouts?

    Yes, the following degustation items may be brought to the selections.
    Cakes and sponges may be brought in baked and trimmed for entremet and plated dessert.
    Dough and streusel may be brought in rolled, cut and ready to bake but must be baked during the competition.

  2. Are competitors allowed to use chocolate pastillage on the chocolate showpiece?

    No, chocolate pastillage is not allowed in the tryouts.
